Heavy hand-split cedar shakes on a Roswell, Georgia home — dormers, copper flashing, and a cupola with a weathervane.
Heavy shakes are the thickest cut. They cast deep shadow lines and hold up longer than standard shakes. The dormers and valleys are all hand-fit.
A local project, and one we are proud of. Cedar like this is getting rare — almost nobody installs it anymore. We do.
